On March 25th, as Splunk partners, we participated for the second time in the Capture The Flag (CTF) organized by this vendor, known as BOTS (Boss of the SOC). We are thrilled to share that our team has reached an exceptional milestone: first place in the Iberia ranking (Spain and Portugal) and 44th in the entire EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
We would like to congratulate Aleix Garcia, Àlex Domènech, Marc Baulenas, and Rubén Cerdà for their dedication and for this magnificent result, which improves on the eighth position obtained last year.
What is the Splunk cybersecurity CTF?
A CTF is a cybersecurity competition where participants must solve challenges across various categories: cryptography, web, forensics, etc. The goal is to find so-called “flags” (secret text fragments) to earn points while competing against other leading companies in the sector.
In this edition of BOTS, our team worked hard analyzing data and applying advanced technical skills to solve the challenges presented in different real-world digital threat scenarios.
Commitment to digital resilience
This success reaffirms our commitment to innovation and the protection of our clients’ assets. Through a team strategy and efficient collaboration, we demonstrate our response capability to incidents in an increasingly complex digital environment.
Participating in events of this level allows us to test ourselves, learn, and keep the CyberSOC team at the forefront of technological security.
Thanks to the entire team for maintaining such a high level, and now it’s time to start thinking about the next edition to defend the title!
