On February 5th, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of 12 students from the International Seminar on Systems Management at our facilities. The seminar was organized by UPC School in collaboration with the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) in Lima. The visit was part of an intensive training week focused on the strategic management of technology, led by Pere Botella from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and director of the seminar.
During the session, we shared our vision on how consultancy and advanced digital services can transform organizations. Andrés Navarro-Soto, alongside Angello Suárez and Natalia Gamarra from ThinkUPC, welcomed the students and led a session focused on our organization’s presentation and a showcase of various Artificial Intelligence projects. As a UPC consultancy firm, we maintain a steadfast commitment to the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge to society. In this regard, we took the opportunity to present real-world cases where AI directly improves business competitiveness and discussed the trends shaping systems management.
In addition to the success stories, the visit included a tour of the UPC Central Data Center (A0 Building), allowing the group to get an up-close look at the infrastructure that supports our services. The students were highly engaged, showing great interest in the practical application of technology in today’s market.
As Andrés Navarro-Soto highlighted: “It is always a pleasure to support the Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya in its mission of providing postgraduate training to students from all over the world.” For our team, it has been a very rewarding experience that strengthens our international ties with the Peruvian university ecosystem.
